Because water is the source of all life and we promote clean,
healthy drinking water and clean water environments for all.
Water is the greatest carrier of planetary consciousness
Providing clean drinking water for all beings can bring peace and positive changes into our communities and the world at large. Our survival as a species and our survival as spiritual beings depends upon how we manage
all aspects of our environment so life can flourish. The Earth shows us a reflection of our level of awareness and spiritual consciousness today. Is this mirror hard to look at? It should be. But it's not too late to make significant changes. It is time to evolve on all levels – inner and outer.
Restoring earth resources, forests, beaches, wilderness, etc., can save water in oceans as well as all fresh water sources on the planet. There is a direct connection between clean water and your future health, wealth, and happiness.
Hard questions for tough times... Is the earth "run" by corporations that make decisions
based on financial gain rather than the well being of all?
Do we need to establish a new order of wisdom leadership on the planet?
Is there time to make significant changes?
Will higher consciousness and peace prevail?
Can our intentions be enough? Yes, to all!
Is safe drinking water a commodity to be bought and sold by multi-national corporations or controlled by governments? Should our governments be responsible for cleaning up the groundwater, the rivers, lakes and oceans because of the damage caused by industry and agriculture? Are countries with less water poised to fight water wars against countries that have an abundance? Is water the new oil and will superpowers use it to gain political and military status in the world? Is access to clean drinking water a fundamental human right and should it be provided to the people free or very inexpensively?
These are questions we need to be aware of because, right now, world governments and multi-national corporations are gearing up for some of the biggest wars humanity has ever known – water wars. We know that water is a baseline necessity for all life. However many water sources have been contaminated by toxic chemicals and sewage – the pollution of neglect. Large corporations want to privatize water systems in order to clean it up while creating profitable corporations. The greatest concern of WaterPeace is that at least 30% of the people on the planet have no access to clean drinking water and no ability to pay what corporations and governments want to charge. But the most profound realization is that we do have a choice in how this gets played out.
Spiritually, we know that the collective unconsciousness is holding a great amount of information and wisdom. We have the intelligence and the ability to clean up our water supplies if we help clean up our consciousness so we can participate in preservation of our environment. Once we do our jo and free the water on the planet, it practically cleans itself when it is allowed to run through soil and rocks that are uncontaminated by human waste or chemical pollution. What are you doing about solving the problems on the planet? If we fail ourselves and each other, we will allow corporate dominance to take over and clean our water as we lose control of our lives and allow ourselves to be controlled by their practices. Is this freedom? The power on earth is not balanced. But perhaps most people don't know that. There are more of "us" than them. Why do we let a small number of corporations and individuals decide for the masses what is right? We can make better choices.
Water is now considered by many to be the most precious resource on the planet. But clean, fresh, drinking water is growing scarcer by the decade. While water dominates the news related to the naturally destructive forces of hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, and snowstorms, the crises surrounding water goes much deeper. All over the world, water is contaminated by industrial pollution and waterborne disease pathogens causing on the average of 400 deaths per hour from dysentery and other intestinal illnesses. Today, there is slow progress to provide access to safe drinking water worldwide and currently 1.2 billion people on the planet are without a source for water that isn’t contaminated with the effluent and toxins caused by the failure of humans to insist on the protection of their watersheds and water resources.
Experts warn of a future dominated by an OPEC-like cartel of water-exporting nations. Already pipelines from Scotland to England and Turkey into central Europe are under consideration and companies are bidding on glacier water from the Arctic to sell abroad.
Environmental physicists have found ways to clean the dirty water in many villages from Mexico to the Philippines. And currently, there are hundreds of water-interest groups helping bring information and clean water technology into areas that suffer from a lack of potable, safe water. We believe that when safe water is available for all beings on the planet, this will be the first step to global health and wellbeing, bringing about peace for all. Water Peace. It is our spiritual mission to bring attention to the amazing gifts water provides for all of us and how we can step up and participate in wise humane use of this precious carrier of life.
The Spirit of Water supports global water awareness and legislation through the sale of Water Blessing Labels and other water-related products. The Spirit of Water donates money to these clean water projects.
